Brown Wedding Ring Quilt By Donna Sharp
Although the wedding ring pattern is thought of as a twentieth century design, the pattern actually dates back to 4th century Rome where a motif of two interlocking rings decorated Roman cups. It is thought this style of ring came to America through Germanic people who settled in Pennsylvania in the late 17th century. The pattern of interlocking rings was seen on coverlets, ceramics and other decorative objects in early America. Donna Sharp has taken this timeless design and created her own Brown Wedding Ring quilt in gradient shades of brown on creme. Brown Wedding Ring is shown with Brown Moon Dot euro shams and dust ruffle, Brown Wedding Ring Standard Shams and Donna's Envelope, rooftile and quilted toss pillows. Matching throw and valance are available. Oversize.
